The Second Annual Healthspan Experience
We host our second annual Healthspan Experience on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Lakeview Medical Building in downtown Naples. It is free, it is open to the public as well as to members, and an RSVP is requested.
Two hours of interactive stations run by local health and wellness organizations, with a healthy lunch provided and door prizes throughout.

What healthspan means
Why the event is about healthspan rather than lifespan
Healthspan means more years in which you can do what you want to do.
The measures at this event were chosen with that gap in mind. Grip strength and balance are two of the better predictors of how independently a person lives in their seventies and eighties. Both respond to training long before they become a problem. Memory, sleep, metabolic health and recovery all follow the same pattern: they are easier to protect than to restore.
The same is true of how we practice. A single measurement is a snapshot. The same measures followed over several years are a trend, and a trend is what you can act on.

Interactive stations hosted by local health and wellness organizations, so you can try the measures rather than read about them.
Strength and balance
A strength test and a balance assessment. Both predict how independently people live in later decades.
Memory
A memory station run alongside the Alzheimer's Association, whose Walk to End Alzheimer's team will be there.
Sauna and cold plunge
Onsite sauna and cold plunge therapy from Reset Wellness Lounge.
Lunch and door prizes
Naples Concierge Health provides a healthy lunch from Artichoke & Company, and there are door prizes throughout the two hours.

When and where is the Healthspan Experience?

Is the health fair free, and do I need to be a member?
It is free and it is open to the public. You do not need to be a member of Naples Concierge Health to attend. An RSVP is requested so we can plan lunch and the stations, and you can RSVP by calling the practice.
What happens at the event?
Interactive stations hosted by local health and wellness organizations, including a strength test, a balance assessment, a memory test, and onsite sauna and cold plunge therapy. A healthy lunch is provided, and there are door prizes throughout.
What does healthspan mean?
Healthspan is the number of years you live in good health, function and vitality. Lifespan counts all your years, whatever your health. Extending healthspan is the aim of preventive care: the goal is not only more years, but more years in which you can do what you want to do.
Is this a medical appointment or a screening?
No. The stations are educational and are not a substitute for a visit with your physician. Nothing at the event is a diagnosis, and no results from it go into a medical record. If something you learn there raises a question, bring it to your own doctor.
