Bring us what you have been reading
Bring us the article, the clipping, the podcast, the thing your neighbor swears by. We will read the actual literature and explain how it fits your medical picture. Sometimes the answer is that it is not right for you, and we will tell you that too.
This is somewhere to think a therapy through, with someone who has no stake in the answer.

Who this is for
Who this helps
- You read something compelling and want a credible view on it.
- You were told no and want to understand the reasoning.
- A friend is doing something that seems to be working and you want a real opinion.
- You are being marketed a therapy and cannot tell what is evidence and what is sales.
- You want to try something and want to do it safely rather than alone.
What it involves
How this works
We go to the literature
We look at what the evidence shows, how good that evidence is, and who it was studied in.
Then we apply it to you
We read your labs, your history and your medication list against what the evidence shows.
You get a real answer either way
Including no. We have nothing to sell you, so there is no incentive sitting behind the recommendation.
If the answer is yes, we help you use the therapy safely
With monitoring, and with the follow-up that makes the difference between trying something and managing it.
Side by side
Exactly what is different at Naples Concierge Health
| The usual experience | What we do |
|---|---|
| A no, with no explanation of why. | We read the literature and come back with reasoning. |
| General advice about a therapy. | What it means given your labs, history and medication list. |
| A clinic with something to sell you. | A recommendation with nothing riding on it. |
| You try the therapy alone and hope. | If the answer is yes, we monitor the therapy and follow up. |
| A question that gets no real answer. | It is a fair question, and the answer depends on your own risk picture rather than on a rule we apply to everyone. |
In more detail
What you should know
What we do when you bring something in
We read the actual studies: how large they were, who was in them, what was measured, and whether the effect was meaningful or merely statistically detectable. A great deal of what circulates is built on one small trial in a population nothing like you.
Then we apply it to you specifically. A therapy that is reasonable in general can be a poor idea for one person because of their kidney function, their medication list, or a condition it interacts with. That translation is the part you cannot get from an article.
And then you receive a clear answer with the reasoning attached, so you can disagree with it. Sometimes the answer is yes. Sometimes it is no. Sometimes the evidence is too thin to say either way, and knowing that is useful too.
Why we can say no
There is nothing for sale here. No supplement line, no protocol we need you enrolled in, no therapy the practice profits from. That absence is what makes the advice worth anything.
Having nothing to sell also leaves us free to say the boring thing when the boring thing is true. Sleep, protein, resistance training and treating the condition you already have will outperform most of what gets marketed as optimization.
Therapies we will only consider after an evaluation
Some therapies people ask about sit in a genuinely unsettled regulatory and evidentiary space, and the honest position is that the picture is still moving. Where that is true we say so rather than projecting more confidence than exists in either direction.
Where something is appropriate after a proper evaluation, we will consider it, prescribe it where we can, and monitor it. What we will not do is hand over a therapy because it was requested, or treat a request for a named compound as a reason to prescribe it.
Where we are not the answer
We are not a place to buy a therapy you have already decided on. Some we do not offer at all, and others we will only consider after a proper evaluation.
Questions
What people ask
What kinds of things do people bring in?
Supplements, hormone therapy, peptides, whole-body imaging, multi-cancer blood tests, protocols from a podcast, something a friend is doing. This is a lot of what we do.
Do you prescribe peptides?
For appropriate patients, after thorough evaluation and counseling, some are available through a compounding pharmacy. It is clinician-gated rather than something you can request off a list, and the regulatory picture here is genuinely moving.
What if my regular doctor already said no?
Then you deserve to know why, in a way that makes sense. Sometimes we will agree with them, and either way you will understand the reasoning.
Will you tell me something is fine just to keep me happy?
No. If we think something is a poor idea for you we will say so and explain why, and you are free to disagree with the reasoning.
What if the evidence is genuinely unclear?
Then we tell you so, because that is more useful than false confidence. Unclear evidence plus low risk is a very different situation from unclear evidence plus real risk, and knowing which one you are in is most of the decision.
Can I bring in something my previous doctor refused?
Yes. You may end up with the same answer, but you will understand the reasoning behind it. Sometimes that reasoning turns out not to apply to you.
